Terms of Use

Welcome to HalalDil! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HalalDil mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the HalalDil Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and HalalDil Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Services Provided by HalalDil

HalalDil provides an online platform that allows you to browse, order, and pay for Halal food items from various participating restaurants ("Restaurants"). We facilitate the connection between you and the Restaurants. Please note that HalalDil does not prepare or deliver food items directly; these services are provided by the individual Restaurants.

3. Your Responsibilities as a User

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information updated.
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Ensure that any payment information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to use it.
• Comply with all applicable local, provincial, federal, and international laws and regulations.
• Provide accurate delivery information to ensure successful order fulfillment by the Restaurant.
• Acknowledge that HalalDil relies on the Restaurant's representation and certification regarding the Halal status of their offerings.

4. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

• Order Placement: When you place an order through the Platform, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Restaurant for the preparation and delivery of that order.
• Pricing: Prices for food items and any applicable delivery fees are set by the Restaurants and displayed on the Platform. While we strive for accuracy, errors may occur. In such cases, the Restaurant reserves the right to cancel or adjust orders.
• Payment: All payments for orders are processed through the Platform. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account, including the cost of food, delivery fees (if applicable), taxes, and any other fees.
• Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation and refund policies are subject to the individual Restaurant's policies and any applicable consumer protection laws. Please refer to the specific Restaurant's information on the Platform or contact our customer support for assistance.

5. Halal Compliance Disclaimer

HalalDil is committed to providing access to Halal food. We require all listed Restaurants to represent and warrant that their offerings are Halal and to provide current Halal certification from a recognized certifying body. While HalalDil performs verifications where possible, we rely on the Restaurants to maintain their Halal compliance and provide accurate certification. HalalDil is not a Halal certifying body and does not independently verify the Halal status of each ingredient or preparation process. Any claims or issues related to Halal non-compliance are the sole responsibility of the Restaurant.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, images, software, and underlying technology, is the property of HalalDil Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Platform, except as generally permitted by the Platform's functionality.

7. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. HalalDil collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to such collection, use, and disclosure as described in the Privacy Policy. We adhere to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Canada.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • Actions that harm the reputation of the Platform or other users.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our customer support.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease, and any outstanding payments or obligations will remain due.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Platform "As Is": The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. HalalDil does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Restaurant Responsibility: HalalDil is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or Halal compliance of food items prepared or delivered by Restaurants. Any issues related to food quality, safety, or Halal claims are solely the responsibility of the respective Restaurant.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, HalalDil Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HalalDil Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your (or anyone using your account's) violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Platform thereafter. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

13. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HalalDil Inc. regarding your use of the Platform.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision in these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
• Notices: All notices to you will be sent to the email address associated with your account. All notices to us should be sent to .
